Cedar Valley Education Manager
Hey there! I’m Coral-Ann Mozdzer and I got started as an Education Manager with Junior Achievement in fall of 2020. I grew up in southern New Hampshire and graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology in western New York. During my time in undergrad I worked in the Development and Alumni Relations student calling center (fun fact: I met my husband our first day of training there!!) and learned about the importance of philanthropy. After graduation I started working full time for the Development office and was a part of the Annual Giving team. I love working for a non-profit and seeing students succeed because of the work I get to do. When my husband relocated to the Cedar Valley for work I got the opportunity to join the Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa team.
Part of My Job: connecting with people that care about their community!
Things to do after 5 PM: spending time in the kitchen, one day I will make the perfect vegan mac and cheese.
Place to Travel: New places! I love finding a local coffee shop to kick off a day of being a tourist!
Ways to Relax: Definitely spending time outdoors - hiking, biking, kayaking - anything out in the fresh air.
Quote: “Try and leave this world a little better than you found it” - Robert Baden-Powell. I grew up camping a lot so I call it the campsite rule!
