Please help us welcome Haley Rosendahl, who joined Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa (JAEI) on December 10, 2025, as our new Development Manager!

In her role, Haley will work alongside our development team to strengthen partnerships and build relationships with funders who believe in empowering students through real-world learning. With a background in higher education advancement, nonprofit development, and even small business ownership (yes—she once ran both a brewery and a **comedy club!*), Haley brings a dynamic blend of experience, creativity, and relationship-building talent to JAEI.

Haley was drawn to Junior Achievement (JA) by our strong community reputation and her own belief in the power of youth leadership opportunities—something she credits with shaping who she is today. She’s excited to connect with funders to align their passions with JAEI’s mission and help expand our impact across Eastern Iowa.

Originally from the tiny town of Knierim, Iowa (population 50!), Haley has lived across the Midwest before planting roots in Cedar Rapids. Outside of work, she’s deeply involved in the community: she serves on the board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Eastern Iowa chapter, coordinates festivals for the Cedar Rapids Brewing Society, and produces comedy shows around town. You may even find her behind the bar at Field Day Brewing helping with tastings.

In her free time, Haley enjoys golfing, watching sports, reading, cooking, baking, and spending time with her two beloved cats at home on the southeast side of Cedar Rapids.

If she had one message for students, it would be this: Be adaptable. Life rarely goes according to plan—but a flexible mindset helps you navigate anything that comes your way.

We are invigorated to have Haley on the JAEI team—and can’t wait to see the passion and fun-loving energy she brings to our development work. Welcome, Haley!
