At JA of Eastern Iowa, we host several events throughout the year to raise money to support our programming. These events also engage the community in our efforts to reach students! Whether you'd like to get involved on an individual level or as a business through event sponsorship, we offer several ways for you to support our work while having a great time!
The NEW JA Titan® Challenge is a regional day-long competition which places high school junior and senior students in the CEO seat to help increase their understanding of business. Young entrepreneurs are taught in an engaging way about the nuances of running a global business in a competitive, high tech marketplace. Schools in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Waterloo, and surrounding areas are welcome to join.
New for 2021, participants will enjoy a variety of local food offerings, fine wines, specialty beers, and music while bidding on exclusive silent auction items.
Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa is currently accepting nominations for three elite individuals to be inducted as Laureates and one to be inducted as a Young Entrepreneur into the Corridor Business Hall of Fame on September 23, 2021 at the Cedar Rapids Marriott. Nominations for these prestigious awards will be accepted through Friday, March 26, 2021. Individuals inducted into the Business Hall of Fame are outstanding business leaders who have made significant contributions to the free enterprise system.
Career Inspire offers 9th grade students the opportunity to learn about careers from industry representatives in time to ensure their high school course work aligns with career goals and better prepare themselves for life after high school graduation.

Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa's (JAEI) Annual JA Stock Market Challenge event allows participants to experience the fast pace, cut throat day in the life of a stock market trader. The Stock Market Challenge is a technology based simulation of the stock market in which every 60 seconds represents a day of trading. Beginning with a hypothetical account balance of $500,000, the stakes are high and the competition is fierce. There will be a straight forward student competition during the day and a no holds barred adult version in the evening.

Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa's inaugural JA Financially Fit 40.1K, presented by Collins Community Credit Union, allows participants to be physically and financially fit with JA.
