Further, mentors show students how to earn, save, and spend money wisely and how budgeting sets them up for financial success. These essential life skills are reinforced through hands-on games, activities, and discussions, enabling students to navigate the complexities of adulthood. Their goal is to build confidence and equip students with the skills necessary to succeed in a rapidly evolving world.

How Does Giving Tuesday Benefit JAEI?

On Giving Tuesday, donations to Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa directly support their mission to provide quality educational programs to students in the region. Funds raised will be used to:

• Expand programs: Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa offers in-school programs for students in grades K-12. Donations help grow the scope and reach of these programs, ensuring that even more students can access JA's life-changing curriculum.
• Support signature programs like JA Finance Park^® Mobile and JA BizTown^® Mobile: JA Finance Park^® Mobile and JA BizTown^® Mobile are experiential learning programs provide students with hands-on opportunities to learn about personal finance, budgeting, entrepreneurship, and career readiness through an immersive and interactive visit to a mobile-city. Donations help sustain and expand these programs, ensuring that students gain real-world skills in a fun, engaging environment that prepares them for future success.
• Recruit and train volunteers: JA programs are made possible by dedicated volunteers who serve as mentors and educators for students. Your support helps JA recruit and train local professionals who can share their expertise with the next generation.
