2025 Corridor Business Hall of Fame
When: Thursday, September 18, 2025The 2025 Corridor Business Hall of Fame, presented by U.S. Bank, will take place on Thursday, September 18. Now in its 26th year, this black-tie event honors three distinguished business leaders and one emerging entrepreneur who have made a lasting impact on Eastern Iowa through their leadership, integrity, and community commitment. The evening will feature video biographies and student hosts, celebrate local success while inspiring the next generation of leaders.

2025 Cedar Valley Career Inspir
When: Thursday, September 25, 2025 - Friday, September 26, 2025Hosted by Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa, JA Career Inspire® will take place in the Cedar Valley on September 25th and 26th at the Waterloo Convention Center in Waterloo. This hands-on, interactive career exploration event connects 8th grade students with local employers and real-world career opportunities. Through engaging activities and simulations, students explore a wide range of industries—helping them link classroom learning to future goals and empowering them to make informed decisions about high school coursework, post-secondary plans, and career pathways.

When: Tuesday, October 28, 2025 - Wednesday, October 29, 2025Hosted by Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa, JA Career Inspire® will take place in the corridor on October 28th and 29th at the Alliant Energy Power House in Cedar Rapids. This hands-on, interactive career exploration event connects 8th grade students with local employers and real-world career opportunities. Through engaging activities and simulations, students explore a wide range of industries—helping them link classroom learning to future goals and empowering them to make informed decisions about high school coursework, post-secondary plans, and career pathways.

When: Thursday, October 30, 2025The 2025 Cedar Valley Business Hall of Fame, presented by First Interstate Bank, will be held on Thursday, October 30. Now in its 31st year, this black-tie event honors exceptional business leaders in Eastern Iowa for their impact, integrity, leadership, community commitment, and entrepreneurial spirit. Featuring video tributes and student hosts, the evening celebrates those who inspire the next generation through their legacy of success.

Corridor JA Stock Market Challenge
When: Thursday, April 24, 2025Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa's (JAEI) 6th Annual JA Stock Market Challenge event allows participants to experience the fast pace, cut throat day in the life of a stock market trader. The Stock Market Challenge is a technology based simulation of the stock market in which every 60 seconds represents a day of trading. Beginning with a hypothetical account balance of $500,000, the stakes are high and the competition is fierce. There will be a straight forward student competition during the day and a no holds barred adult version in the evening.

Every dollar raised helps provide students with essential financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship programs.
