Before their visit, middle and high school students complete classroom lessons on budgeting, credit, saving, careers, and responsible financial planning. Then, they step into a real-world simulation inside the mobile experience where learning truly comes to life. Each student receives a unique life scenario — a career, income, family situation, and monthly expenses. Throughout the day, they:
• Create and manage a realistic budget
• Make decisions about housing, transportation, insurance, food, and entertainment
• Balance wants vs. needs while planning for unexpected costs
• Experience the impact of financial choices on their long-term goals

JA Finance Park® Mobile
JA Finance Park® Mobile gives middle and high school students a realistic look at managing personal finances as adults. After learning about budgeting, credit, saving, and careers in the classroom, students step into a mobile simulation where they receive a fictional life scenario — complete with a job, income, and family situation. They make choices about housing, transportation, groceries, insurance, and more while balancing wants vs. needs and planning for the future. It’s an eye-opening experience that helps students understand how financial decisions today impact long-term goals and economic opportunity.
