At Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa, we believe that one of the most powerful ways we help students believe in what’s possible is by introducing them to real-life examples of transformation and success. Our annual Business Hall of Fame events do just that—honoring exceptional local leaders whose stories demonstrate the power of hard work, vision, and perseverance.
Each fall, we host two distinguished Business Hall of Fame events to celebrate individuals who have built lasting legacies through innovation, leadership, and service to their communities. These honorees exemplify the best of what Eastern Iowa has to offer—and serve as inspiring role models for the next generation.
The Corridor Business Hall of Fame, presented by U.S. Bank, will take place on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Cedar Rapids. This year’s honorees include John R. Balmer of PSC Distribution, Inc.; Chris and Suzy DeWolf of Lil’ Drug Store Products; and Pat McGrath of the McGrath Family of Dealerships. Brandon Pratt of Lion Development Group and Gravy Train Restaurant Management will be recognized as the Entrepreneur Honoree.

The Cedar Valley Business Hall of Fame, presented by First Interstate Bank, will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the Bien VenU Event Center in Cedar Falls. The 2025 honorees are Bill J. Bradford of Bradford Companies; Wayne Magee of Magee Construction Company; and Eric P. Petersen of Northland Products Company. Max C. Klein of Freed Construction will be recognized as the Cedar Valley Entrepreneur Honoree.
The Business Hall of Fame is more than an evening of recognition—it’s a celebration of leadership that inspires our young people to dream big and work hard. Junior Achievement empowers students to recognize how their unique skills and talents can shape their future—and the world around them. These events help bring that vision to life.
