Why JA?
"I initially got involved with JA to volunteer in my sons’ school. After a semester in the classroom, I was hooked! I loved making connections with students and it was easy to believe in the content JA delivers to prepare students for their future… even in elementary school. I am thrilled to be joining the JA Board to get more involved with the remarkable initiatives JA is delivering across the region. From BizTown to Finance Park, Career Inspire and 3DE, I wish I could be a student again! As a parent with 3 students in the Iowa City School District, I am excited for each of them to learn through the JA curriculum. I am passionate about JA’s innovative programming which empowers every student to dream bigger about their futures.
