Howard Hall, a successful industrialist and celebrated philanthropist, had a deep love for Eastern Iowa. While nurturing his own prosperous business, Iowa Manufacturing, he also spent a great deal of time recruiting other companies to relocate to Cedar Rapids not only to provide jobs but to develop the community.

Mr. Hall was widely known for his deep concern for others. Through his creation of the Hall-Perrine Foundation, he continues to give back to the community nearly 30 years after his death.
